Phlox stolonifera or creeping phlox is an evergreen ground cover plant with small glossy green leaves and pale violet blue flowers in late spring. I discovered it through Carolyn@Carolyns Shade Gardens and ordered 3 from Beth Chatto’s nursery as part of my birthday present. I have planted it along the edge of the decking in the magnolia border, where it will disguise the dying foliage of the daffodils and give good groundcover.
