My first shed

Finally, I have my very own shed. Only little, but there again, so is my garden. Only 5’x4′, it nestles in the shade behind the pergola. It arrived in that virulent orange typical of treated timber, but many coats of stain later it now fades into the background. Wonderful to have somewhere in the garden to keep tools, feed etc. And I feel faintly smug about the fact that I put it together with screws, not nails, so that we can easily take it apart and reassemble it elsewhere when we come to move – even the roof, which will now come off in one piece complete with felt and barge boards. I plan to give it a green roof once we reach our new home, but in the mean time, this will do us just fine.
