A beautiful looking rose ~ I know it’s a wordless post but I want to know what it is :) Thanks for the comment you left on my blog regarding my oversized for its spot fatsia japonica ~ the jury is still out.
Isn’t it lovely? Sorry, we’ve no idea what rose it is, it was a gift to my in-laws several years ago, and was languishing in its original pot until last year when we gave it more room. It has rewarded us this year with lots of lovely flowers, but remains incognito…
You are so right about just how long it takes to ‘do’ a ‘Bloomday’ but so much fun and really useful too. Your flowers all look stunning. I don’t usually like variegated leaves (especially here in Italy where the white part usually burns to a crisp brown) but I do love your Sedum, if I ever see one, I’ll get one to try.

Thanks Shyrlene – and for pointing out that the comments text was white! All fixed now I hope…
