Wish I’d invested in gravel trays and capillary matting from the get-go, so much easier and less opportunity for flooding. Well, today the capillary matting and water trays arrived, hopefully making it a little easier to keep seedlings alive without wrecking the house… I celebrated by sowing the (now very late) Butternut Squash seeds from DigIn, and potted up the trailing tom plugs that also arrived today. So, day before yesterday I also sowed some fresh salad leaves outside in the last of the troughs and some broccoli, chilies and climbing french beans inside. probably too late for the broccoli, and anyway not sure where to put the plants if they turn in to plants, but hey.
